Boomhauer is a well-known live act, and maybe some people would say that this kind of music works only on live. And I gotta admit that also I had my doubts, but not for long once the record was spinnig. The first song, "Pans On Fire", just freaks you out, this is one of the best Finnish rock songs of this century! Boomhauers music is a juicy mix of rock'n'roll, country, blues and punk added with truckloads of energy, and the outcome sure is tasty and personal. And these guys also got this easy and fumbling touch on their playing. One of the best things about this 7" is that it includes six songs, so the length of each song isn't too long and you won't get bored and none of them won't fail although they all are little bit the same. The lyrics are mostly brainless stuff, but that fits greatly with the music. You better get this 7" EP, before it's sold out!
