The Frankenstein Drag Queens From Planet 13 - Viva Los Violence!

(People Like You Records)

Sweet dear Jesus! It`s not that the name is cool, but their music, too, is fucking excellent! As I started listening this great album only two words boggled in my mind: Twisted Sisters. TFDQFP13 sounds almost exactly like Twisted Sisters, except that the mood and atmosphere deals more with death, zombies, dying, smothering, galaxies, blood, shit, chickens, violence, and such others. What`s to say. Songs like "Smother My Brother", "Devil Made Me Do It", "Eat Drugs First" and "Give Her To The Monsters" pretty much speak for themselves. The songs are a mixture of rock, glam and punk and have lots of juicy and sharp hooks and riffs. I listened the album through three times and couldn`t get enough! (I`m going now somewhere near 666). The album also provides a kick-ass version of "Bark At The Moon" by none other than our dear Mr. Osbourne. As a sugar on top (or actually more like the wheat at the bottom) the album`s last song, "Galactic Chicken Shit", is an aggressive live-performance and really gives you the idea how excellent these guys are live, musically. Those who prefer bands like Twisted Sisters, Mot`o`rhead, and The Dwarves, get this one! Oh yeah, as a nice notifier: one of the previous albums by TFDQFP13, Night Of The Living Drag Queens, contains a song called "Twist My Sister".
