I gotta admit that this was my first The Maggots album, and I didn't know precisely what to expect. But that didn't bother me, 'cause the first song immediately gave me the right mood and a good impression. Well the second song, Boy From Nowhere, almost blow my brains out of my head - freaky guitars, simple words, great vocals and everything that good rock song needs. Only bad thing is that the rest of the album never gets better of that, but there's still some great songs like Chicken Race With Satan and The Maggot Man. There's no any filler songs, but after 12 songs it gets maybe little bit boring, 'cause all the songs are quite same, but fuck that, all the songs are still so good, that the only option is to give five stars. Their music is so personal and so full of dynamite, that you shouldn't miss this album.
