Presley Bastards: Demo 2002

Shit, I almost died due to a heart-attack, caused by a sudden feeling of fear that this demo sounds exactly like the last one I listened (Three Bullets Left: Hey You C'mon!). Mainly because the shitty mixing sounded almost as bad. Fortunately it wasn't that bad and the songs actually rock a bit. Straight outta Hellsinki, this demo provides four songs, but there ain't really anything I haven't already heard before. It's average and technically just straight-ahead rock. The second song, Not Just Me, is more like pop-punk, just the kind I hate. Luckily the third rambler, Never Look Back, removes that feeling of hatred, but only for a while. After a cruel and nice intro-riffing it turns again into fucking pop-punk. Maybe the fourth and last offers me a salvation? Almost. I think I have to take it seriously that these guys really wanna make Bad-Religion-meets-Green-Day-pop-punk and stop whining.
