Introducing, the rising star of Finnish hard-rock, Ruotomieli. Moreover, the most promising rising star of Finnish hard-rock using their native language (logically enough, finnish). This EP, a prelude to their first full-length album coming out in early 2003, consists of five songs, and I am now gonna try to get you hyped enough about these guys. These boys describe themselves as "the musical bastard children of Neil Young, Stooges and Sielun Veljet" and there isn't really any better way to say what this EP is all about. Anybody who has seen them live knows how vividly they can capture the energy and chaotic stage-show straight outta Iggy Pop & C/o. The songs rock, roll, kick, punch, and get your feet movin'. An excellent EP with excellent sounds, excellent playing and singing, and excellent songs! Watch out later for an interview with the band itself!
