Finally these three young savages got something released, the label behind this four-song 7" is quite new Legal Records. The Slideshaker is one of those new garage bands, that are still maybe too unknown for the bigger audience. It's little bit a shame, 'cause this band so damn good. One evidence is this 7", where you can hear their freaky renditions of raw delta-blues added with some punk and primitive 60's garage influences. The first song "Bored To Act" is really shocking start, sometimes it gets maybe even too chaotic, at least for me. Well, after that the record gets better and better, and finally the last song "Jail Bait Blues" is probably the best song of this 7". If I still had to say something negative, the vocals are little too slack. But otherwise this is definitely some of the best broken blues in Scandinavia at the moment.
