The Trassels - Holy Heat

(Bad-Attitude! - records)

The Trassels have returned with their new hard-kicking 7", "Holy Heat". The first impression I had was that this sounds exactly same than the new Sweatmaster and stuff like that, but after couple more listenings I discovered more personal characteristics. There's plenty of different influences from different artists tied together. As a rule, there's one basic riff that goes on the hole song, no unnecessary guitar solos or anything like that. The vocals are also great and so on, you can really hear the experience that these guys have. Maybe the biggest mistake on this record is that the second song "Underworld Hero", has almost exactly the same riff than The Flaming Sideburns' "Street Survivor" has, and this really bothers me in a big way! Otherwise I would give at least four stars, but now I have to be satisfied only with:
